Top 10 Items I Want From My Baby Registry

LionessDae.com | Top 10 Most Wanted Items From My Baby Registry

Of course I want it all, I mean, I registered for it right? Right. But there are some things I want more than others.

Graco Modes Click Connect Travel System in Downton

This system is awesome! I love that it has the Click Connect car seat, that is a must for me regardless of the stroller. But the stroller won me over because the baby can face me or the world without the car seat.

B gave it a test drive when we registered for it a few weeks ago. He said it has a smooth ride and is height appropriate, which was a concern. B is 6’3″ and I’m 5’9″. The last thing I want is to be hunched over pushing my baby around town, that just ain’t cute.

The link above shows the travel system in Francesca, I chose to get Downton which is all black with silver accents. I like the sleek look of all black, plus it matches most of my outfits and the car interior.

Ingenuity Washable Playard with Dream Centre

Why am I excited for a playard? This one is washable! If you know me personally, you know I’m a bit of a germaphobe. Not to mention the bassinet and changing table attachments. I’m planning to use this in our bedroom for a while before transitioning her to a crib. When she outgrows the bassinet part I plan to get a playard mattress. The piece of cardboard  mattress that comes with is…ummm…too damn hard for a baby to be sleeping on.

Mombo Nursing Pillow

Yes, I know that says Mombo and not Boppy but hear me out. I discovered the Mombo about a year ago while shopping for a baby shower. I loved the vibrating insert which prompted the purchase. After doing more research lately I like that one side is soft and the other is firm. Plus, I’m not to keen on following the crowds.

4Moms Spout Cover

I have a small fear that the water may be too hot or cold when giving baby a bath. This lil’ gadget solves that. From what I gather, you hook this on the tub spout and it reads the temperature of the water. Genius!

Fisher-Price Kick and Play Piano

I can only imagine that I’ll love to see my baby kicking away at this thing. I’m not a big fan of noisy toys but I saw this and fell in love!

It comes in two versions. This one can be hung over the side of a crib or playard. The other is an activity mat. I saw a YouTube vid where baby was long and quickly outgrew the mat. Seeing as how B and I are on the taller side I decided to go with this version.

Infantino Fusion Flexible Baby Carrier

I love the idea of baby wearing. After reading some reviews and watching some videos I decided to go with this carrier. It can be worn on the front or back, although I will only be wearing on the front, I need to know what’s going on. It seems easy to get on and off and B likes that it’s not fabric, that’s not his style.

Stork Craft Glider and Ottoman

I wanna be one of these mamas who rocks her baby (and herself) to sleep. Not to mention I’ve always loved rocking chairs. I had a little wooden one when I was a toddler and I always ask B to buy me one when we go to Cracker Barrel. Anywhoo, this one has plenty cushion and matches the color scheme I want for her room.

Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 Booster Seat

Yes, Ingenuity not Bumbo. They are pretty similar and in the same price range but the Ingenuity won me over because the age range is slightly wider. I know, it’s the small things. I also like the attachments that are available with the Ingenuity.

Crane Elephant Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier

First of all, this thing is adorable. Secondly, we use one in our room so I’m pretty sure baby will need one too. Thirdly, the elephant won me all the way over! A few days before we found out the sex of our baby I had a dream the baby was an elephant. Crazy I know, but I’m pregnant, forgive me.

Anyhoo, I was telling a co-worker about my dream and she said elephants are good luck in some cultures and they represent money in others. So we decided we are having one rich lucky charm of a baby.

Munchkin Steam Guard Electric Sterilizer

Back to this germaphobe thing, yeah, it’s that real. Look, I have to ensure her bottles are squeaky clean and free of microbes. We don’t have a dishwasher (I know, I know, it’s 2015) and I cannot imaging hand washing bottles. I would have to get a separate dish pan and all to ease the anxiety. This will handle that for me.

Fisher-Price Deluxe Bouncer

Yes, this makes 11, consider it a bonus. Now when it came down to a bouncer/rocker/vibrating chair they all started running together. It got to the point where we went down the aisle for the second time and I just scanned a pretty one. Nevertheless, still a necessity.

Creating my baby registry was fun! It was like creating an Amazon Wish List with items people will actually buy me. These items are listed in no particular order. If you have any of them and can offer a personal review, please do so in the comments, I’d love to know the juicy details.

**This post contains some affiliate links. If you choose to make a purchase from one of the links I will receive a small commission. But you were gonna purchase that anyway right? So now we both win.

Those pianos are EVERYTHING. Ours played with his into toddlerhood. Great safe entertainment for them while they go to sleep or wake up, and you can stay in your room knowing that they are occupied and happy.

From the reviews I read (and I read plenty) I believe it’s a great system. We actually got it as an early shower gift!
